About me

My name is Rikard and I am a guy who grew up in a small town in Sweden. Today I am traveling the world regularly doing exactly what I love to do – to learn, to teach and to explore new horizons. My main base is today on the road with my laptop as my only companion. I feel free and I have the whole world as my home. However it was not always like that. I started with nothing and from rock bottom just a few years ago in Sweden. All I had was a strong, deep desire of breaking free from the rat race, to have more time to enjoy life and to develop as a person building my own future. Now I am much better off then when I started out but I am continuously developing myself and learning new things every day to improve my life and to help inspire others improving theirs.

When I was a kid, I was always happy with a big smile on my face. I was a very curious kid and I wanted to know and explore everything and spent a lot of time outside playing in the neighborhood with friends. I lived close to the forest and I went there often to explore new trails and to build small cabins. Several maps were made over my trails and the cabins I had built. Another thing that I enjoyed a lot was the times me and my father went fishing together in the mountains in the north of Sweden. I did never have any strict rules when I grew up, so I could be out playing the whole day without having to return to my house at any specific time. I loved my freedom and the adventure of exploring.

IN MY YOUNGER YEARS

When I was about 14 years old I started my first small profitable business. I lived at my parents house and I bought used motorbikes from kids in the neighbourhood that I fixed up and sold with profit. It all started with that I bought one motorbike for myself and one day out of curiosity I removed the engine from the frame and opened it up. The result was that all the parts within fell out on the floor. It was a mess and I did not have a clue how to put them back together again. Eventually I figured it out step by step and become an expert. I started to buy faulty motorbikes for almost nothing.

I could understand exactly what was wrong with a faulty motorbike just by test running it and listen to the engine before even opening it up. I got many bargains that I fixed up and sold on with good profit. It was fun and often I got a few spare parts that came with each bike when I bought them. I specialized in certain brands and models so that I could have a collection of spare parts at home when ever I needed new parts for my new motorbikes that I just bought.
